The albino form of the socolofi, sometimes sold as the albino pindani. Clean white right through with pale blue in the fins, which is an unusual thing to have in a rift lake tank and it stands out against dark rock.

A rock dweller from Lake Malawi, so give them a sandy bottom and enough rockwork to make caves and hiding spots. They hold territory like any mbuna but they are calmer about it than most, which makes them a reasonable place to start with African cichlids. Keep several females to each male. They lean herbivorous, so spirulina flakes and cichlid pellets with the odd bit of spinach or zucchini, and go easy on high protein food.
